Spinal Instability

VMA testing, unlike a common x-ray, provides more data than ever before by taking hundreds of x-ray type pictures of your spine while you move in a gentle, controlled manner. These images are collected in an unconfined space, unlike the traditional MRI machines.

VMA testing helps achieve positions that result in the detection of instability.

When vertebral bodies slip, nerves can be impinged, which can lead to symptoms, such as pain. Some instability occurs only during spine bending. Flex-ex testing involves uncontrolled bending, so patients can avoid painful positions that trigger instability.

This can prevent a surgeon from ever knowing instability is present.

The VMA  provides more accurate motion measurements to help diagnose your  unique condition.

The VMA motion imaging technology is a game-changer!

Your spine deserves the latest in imaging technology.
